Beautiful Burnt Mills Reservoir has much to offer visitors. Anacostia River - Northwest Branch has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if you need a site to stay Hilton Silver Spring is a great choice. Through the days of summer at Burnt Mills Reservoir highs are ordinarily in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's while Burnt Mills Reservoir overnight low temperatures

There's so much to do here at Burnt Mills Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Scotts Cove Campground is a pleasant location for that, and Courtyard by Marriott Silver Spring Downtown is a nice site to get some rest. Mills Reservoir; Valley Trail is a great local trail, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria here. Don't leave Burnt Mills Reservoir without first going for a hike along the White Horse Trail. You'll
need more than a day to look at everything Burnt Mills Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Cherry Hill Park. Good hiking is available along the Western Ridge Trail; Greenbelt Park is one of the destinations that are brilliant to pop by close by. This lake is so wonderful.
