If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Buddy Pond. Ayer Creek flows through this region; stop at nearby                  Herring Gut. Summertime highs at Buddy Pond regularly tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Buddy Pond. Take a hike on the Ragged Point Trail. Beaches are great; and Little Egging Beach in close proximity to Buddy Pond is no exception, and Assateague State Park is a delightful local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
