Turners Gap is a splendid location to take a look at next to Boonsboro Reservoir, and you can run the rapids of Beaver Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Green Brier State Park Dam and Dike is beautiful and it's in the neighborhood of Boonsboro Reservoir, and you can stay the night at South Mountain Campground. Boonsboro Reservoir gets a normal amount of yearly rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest.

need a location to stay Hagerstown Hotel and Convention Center is a great choice; the top of Bartman Hill is easily seen from Boonsboro Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Boonsboro Reservoir that you
need to camp here for a while, Gambrill State Park is a fine site for that, and playing golf is lots of fun at Beaver Creek Country Club. A great nearby hotel is Comfort Suites Hagerstown, and Boonsboro Reservoir is right by the Appalachian
National Scenic Trail.
All through the months of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Boonsboro Reservoir with overnight lows in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Boonsboro Reservoir temperatures dip to the 10's.
