Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the neighborhood of Blue Pond. Don't leave Blue Pond without first going for a hike along the Ragged Point Trail,       and why not pop by Big Bay Point also while you're here. Through the summertime, highs frequently are in the 80's at Blue Pond. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Blue Pond. Refuge Motor Inn is a great location to get some rest; Pine Grove Campground is a nice campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Blue Pond,                  you could also stop at nearby Boxiron Pond, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Nassawango Country Club is in close proximity. Purnell Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit, and if you came for an overnight stay Pocomoke River State Park is a nice place to camp. All the water falling down from the sky makes Blue Pond a wet site; August is the month that gets the most rain, and April on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
