Blairs Valley Lake in fact is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Martinsburg North, Wv is a fine location to spend a night or two, and Sleepy Creek is a fine whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. The Plank Trail offers hiking at its best; a tremendous place close by is Bear Pond Hollow. This lake is so wonderful. Blairs       Valley Lake is not far at all from Hagerstown-Martinsburg, and Blairs Valley Lake is a nice site to visit for more than one day, Indian Springs Kampgrounds is a nice site to camp nearby. Hanging Rock is an out of the ordinary thing to see since you're here at Blairs Valley Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Blairs Valley Lake; Lincoln Trail is a good local trail. For the period of the warm months at Blairs Valley Lake temperatures are mostly                  in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Blairs Valley Lake descend into the 10's.
