Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Backgarden Pond, and Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort is a good place to get some rest. There are swamps here too; Harpers Marsh is in close proximity, and Lake Bonnie Camp is a brilliant campground here. This lake is so wonderful.
