There's some flowing water nearby, Baisman Run is a stream you can visit during your stay; you're sure to run into some fine folks from Baltimore-Towson here. If you need a place to stay Residence Inn Baltimore Hunt Valley is a wonderful choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Timer Ridge is a splendid place to camp. Summertime at Beaverdam Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. true. Jones Falls is a brilliant whitewater spot in the vicinity of Beaverdam Pond, and Camp Holiday is a wonderful campground nearby. Beaverdam Pond gets a common amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout May, and February meanwhile is the driest month.

 | This is a very forgiving and beautiful stretch of river; however, there are a number of strainers to negotiate. One thing, though, I have lived in MD for decades and NEVER seen a poisonous snake, not like I have out west or down south, and the VERY first outing on this stretch had us come across two copperheads within a half hour of each other, with the second sunning itself on the very strainer we had to pull the boats across and climb over ourselves. Other than that, add a couple of hours to any suggested trip durations, if the water is lower.... |
