Hill is clearly visible from Barton Debris Basin. Butcher Run is a wonderful site to pop by, and Lonaconing Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem
getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Savage River, and dry warm beds await you at Frostburg Days Inn. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Wisp while you're here.
The annual rain here at Barton Debris Basin is about average; July is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest.
