What a nice lake Angler Lake is. Go for a hike on the Panhandle Trail, and naturally, this is a wonderful area for folks who like lakes, Dorchester Lake is a lake around here. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are glorious; Cat Pond is a lake that's right next door to Angler Lake, and in the vicinity of Angler Lake you come across a golf course called White Plains Park & Golf Course.

Get yourself into a kayak and hit Anacostia River; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Waldorf,Md is a good choice. Good hiking is available along the South Trail, and Harmony Place Trailer Park is a pleasant campground nearby.
