Yagar Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Take a side spree to Guilder Brook, and Ski Butternut is a pleasant local ski area. From Yagar Pond you obtain a pleasant vista of Mount Bushnell, and Yagar Pond is right by the Indian Trail. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Northrop Trail; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Catamount is rather near.

golf course like Egremont Country Club, and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bash Bish Brook. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Yagar Pond. During the dark hours of summer
temperatures fall down into the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's while Yagar Pond overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.
