What a place this is for outdoors folks. This is a wonderful area for people who like lakes. Partridge Pond is a lake close at hand, and if you came for an overnight stay Pout and Trout Family Campground is a fine site to camp. For the period of the summer highs here at Wrights Reservoir get into the 0's while night lows are generally in the 0's. The wintertime brings highs down       to the 0's while Wrights Reservoir overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Colonial Hotel is a splendid choice, and Howe's Camping is a great campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Contoocook River in a kayak, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Wachusett Mountain. Around Wrights Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall;                  the wettest month of the year is frequently , that's the one that snows the most, and January on the other hand is the driest. Dry warm beds await you at Gardner Super 8 Motel, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Parker Trail. Lakes are wonderful; Cunningham Pond is a lake that's in the vicinity of Wrights Reservoir, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Wrights Reservoir; Harling Trail is a great local trail. There are plenty of folks from Worcester here at Wrights Reservoir, and Pine Ridge has fine slopes and a friendly staff. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the neighborhood of Wrights Reservoir. An afternoon playing golf at Gardner Municipal Golf Course is always a delight; you don’t have to go far from Wrights Reservoir to see the water at Wrights Reservoir Dam. Wrights Reservoir is right by the Wapack Trail, and get soaked paddling on Millers River.
