So much amusing stuff in the neighborhood of Wrights Pond, completely mind-boggling. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Blue Hills, and after a long day outdoors Best Western New Englander is a great spot to spend a night or two. Brooks Brook is in close proximity to Wrights Pond and is always a joy to check out, and Wrights Pond Dam is a scenic place, beyond doubt worth checking out. Pond a quite wet spot; through November this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is August.
This lake is so wonderful. All our national parks are pleasant spots to have a look at, and Boston Harbor Islands National
Recreation Area is no exception, and Camp Cedar is a perfect local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the beach if you want, Magazine Beach is practically right here, and paddling on Charles River is so much fun. At Wrights
Pond through the days of summer highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's; nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Wrights Pond tend
to be in the 10's.
Hit the slopes at Bradford close at hand, and you get a glorious panorama of Mount Andrew from here. This lake is so wonderful. You could also check out South Reservoir if you're here at Wrights Pond; it's close
by, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Orient Heights Beach.
Camp Micah is a perfect campground nearby, and at Wrights Pond you always meet someone from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy.
