It's always fun to stop by Wrights Pond. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Bradford, and at Wrights Pond Dam close to Wrights Pond there are some attention-grabbing things to see. There are plenty of folks from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy here at Wrights Pond, and Magazine Beach is pretty nearby if you're in a beach type of mood. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Wrights Pond. Camp Micah is a pleasant campground
nearby; Blue Hills is a very popular ski area in the vicinity.
This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is pretty, you acquire a glorious panorama of Mount Andrew from Wrights Pond; let's not forget Brooks Brook which is a stream that you may come across during your stay.                low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. There are some great whitewater spots on Concord River, and you're in all probability into lakes, Bellevue Pond is one of those nearby.
If you came for an overnight stay Camp Cedar is a great location to camp, and enjoy a round of golf at Stoneham Oaks Golf Course. Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Wrights Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Charles River offers some delightful whitewater, and needless to say, this is a perfect neighborhood for folks who like lakes, South Reservoir is a lake in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the beach if you want, Orient Heights Beach is practically right here, and don't miss out on a tour to Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area since you're here. All the water falling down from the sky makes Wrights Pond a wet location; the wettest month of the year is typically November, that's the one that rains the most while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
A great nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Woburn, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Turkey Swamp is right close by.
