Sodom Mountain Campground is a good campground nearby, and Holiday Inn Springfield-Holyoke, Ma is a good site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Homewood Suites by Hilton« Holyoke-Springfield/North, MA is a magnificent       spot to spend a night or two; do take a hike on the Link Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Orchards Golf Course Superintendant, and why not explore Clear Pond Dam if you're here. So much amusing stuff to do at Wright Cutoff, so little time. You can run the rapids of Connecticut River close to Wright Cutoff; you'll hit upon a scenic lake called Cedar Pond. Don't forget to take a delightful little tour to Crowfoot Brook, and if you                  came for an overnight stay Windy Acres Campground is a nice location to camp. While you're here at Wright Cutoff you can take a hike along the County Road Trail, and a nice site for whitewater paddling is Little River. Lakes are such calm spots, why not pop by Ashley Cutoff in close proximity to Wright Cutoff, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Richard Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Wright Cutoff, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Wright Cutoff. Wright Cutoff is not far at all from Springfield, and the panorama of picturesque Bradley Mountain is pleasant.
