The Turner Trail is a brilliant hiking trail in the neighborhood of Woods Pond, and there's always Columbia Mill Dam to explore near Woods Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a great little journey to Codding Brook, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Wild Cat Trail. Brae Cabins and Campsites is a nice location to camp nearby; in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Konkapot Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Near Woods Pond you locate the Brickhouse
Mountain Trail which is a delightful hiking trail; a lake nearby is Housatonic River Reservoir. Be careful coming to Woods Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again. Maple Glade Campground is a glorious campground nearby,
and if you need a site to stay Quality Inn Lee is a brilliant choice.
There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Woods Pond. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Catamount is in the vicinity of Woods Pond; The Pinnacle is
clearly visible from Woods Pond. Woods Pond is a reasonably wet place usually with a great deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is June while February is regularly the driest month.
