This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not take a look at Factory Village Pond close to Winnekeag Lake, and after a long day outdoors Colonial Hotel is a perfect place to spend a night or two. Paddling on Contoocook River is so much fun, and dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Westminster. So much exciting stuff to do here       at Winnekeag Lake, too great to be true. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Crotched Mountain, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Mitchell Hill Road. You can observe Brown Hill from Winnekeag Lake, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Wapack Trail. Yeah, come here to Winnekeag Lake for a wonderful time. Why not stop at Winnekeag Lake Dam since you're here, and Lincoln Pond is a good lake close                  by. A great deal of rain falls at Winnekeag Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. High temperatures at Winnekeag Lake during the summertime months are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; night lows during the winter for Winnekeag Lake tend to be in the 0's. Winnekeag Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Plaza Court Motel and Campgrounds is a tremendous local campground; the good folks of Worcester like to hang out close by. Wachusett Mountain is a very popular ski area around here, and the Parker Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
