    If you are in Berkshire county it's always a good idea to stop by Windsor Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Readsboro Municipal Forest is a great local forest, and if you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Berkshires, Ma is a magnificent choice. While you're here at Windsor Pond you can take a hike along the Busby Trail, and if you came to camp Red Mill Brook Campground is a perfect place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Have a good hiking adventure along the  
   Kelly Camp Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Haystack.
If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Windsor Pond. Looking for something in the neighborhood of Windsor Pond? Bear Swamp Upper Reservoir is nearby, and whitewater paddling is great on Dunbar Brook. Very beautiful scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Mount Snow, and the good folks of Bennington like to hang out nearby. Windsor Pond
 
               is not the only spot close by, Dunbar Brook Reservoir is a close by lake, and if you're a golfer then a brilliant nearby course is Stamford Valley Golf Course.
A fine nearby hotel is The Porches Inn at MASS MoCA, and Windsor Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Clarksburg State Park is a brilliant local campground. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Windsor Pond reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Windsor Pond dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. Paddling on Deerfield River - West Branch is so much fun, and Beaver Meadow is a great place to check out.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Windsor Pond. Take a little visit to Paint Brook while you're here at Windsor Pond, and hiking along the Dunbar Brook Trail is nice fun. The high level of rain makes Windsor Pond a quite wet site; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
