Windsor Lake is not the only place close by, Lower Reservoir is a close by lake; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Dunbar Brook. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff next to Windsor Lake. A brilliant panorama of beautiful Spruce Hill is available from Windsor Lake, and what would winter be without some skiing at Berkshire East. | | night lows are typically in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are usually in the 20's, and night lows at Windsor Lake all through the winter regularly fall into the 10's. A golf course right next door to Windsor Lake is Stamford Valley Golf Course; there are delightful locations to look at along the Overlook Trail. This lake is so wonderful. going for a hike on the Thunderbolt Ski Trail is always a good adventure. Windsor Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls all through August; February is when it's the driest. There are plenty of folks from Bennington
here at Windsor Lake. The scenery at Windsor Lake Dam in close proximity to Windsor Lake is charming, and there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Busby Trail. Azimuth Brook is a scenic stream that is worth going to.
There's so much to do here at Windsor Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Clarksburg State Park is a glorious location for that. Windsor Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Shady Pines Campground is a good local
campground, and Holiday Inn BERKSHIRES is a great location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Porches Inn at MASS MoCA is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two, and hey, Gotta ski right?
Mount Greylock Ski Club is a wonderful spot to do that. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Green River; a lake nearby is North Branch Hoosic River Reservoir.
