It's always fun to stop by Williamstown Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Williamstown Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Merck Forest Foundation is a delightful location for that, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Overlook Trail. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do in the neighborhood of Williamstown Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Williamstown, and the trees of Clarksburg State Forest

| | are a good source of shade on hot summer days. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mount Greylock Ski Club since you're here, and get your heart pumping on the delightful whitewater of Green River. Forest Park Country Club is a golf course near Williamstown Reservoir, and you'll find a delightful lake called Mount Williams Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Hopper Trail. You can never get enough of the good skiing at Jiminy Peak, and do put some time aside to spend at Money Brook Falls since you're here at Williamstown Reservoir. The
yearly precipitation here at Williamstown Reservoir is about average; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the period of the long summer days, highs regularly
are in the 70's at Williamstown Reservoir. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Williamstown Reservoir dip into
the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. At Williamstown Reservoir you can distinguish Mount Fitch, and the Thunderbolt Ski Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a
great world it would be. Green River is a lovely stream that is worth stopping at; a tremendous location for whitewater paddling is Walloomsac River. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Williamstown Reservoir has to
offer, you can camp at Clarksburg State Park, and why not stop by Williamstown Reservoir Dam if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Do check out Eph Pond near Williamstown Reservoir, it's a picturesque lake; during your tour here you'll meet some people from Pittsfield for sure.
