Very striking scenery and good skiing is what you get at Bradford, and a lake nearby is Burbank Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss out on a fine swamp; Kimballs Pond is right here at Whittemore Pond; if time allows, Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a national park worth taking a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Unicorn Golf Club not far from Whittemore       Pond, and a brilliant location for whitewater paddling is Concord River. Why not check out North Reservoir Dam if you're here; if you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Woburn is a great choice. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Whittemore Pond, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are generally in the 30's with temperatures at Whittemore Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
