A glorious place to camp here at Whitins Pond is Kings Campground; since you're here, you might as well take a look at Purgatory Chasm. Golf can be played at Edgewood Golf Course, and there's great hiking along the Walkabout Trail. So many enjoyable things to do here at Whitins Pond, too great to be true. If you're stopping       by Whitins Pond from Worcester, you won't be the only one; Swans Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at. This lake is so wonderful. At Whitins Pond you can catch a sight of Castle Hill, and Days Inn Shrewsbury - Worcester is a tremendous spot to get some rest. While you're here at Whitins Pond, you could also take a look at picturesque Fish Pond. If you go for the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Whitins Pond. Whitins Pond is glorious enough to                  spend more than a day at, Winding Brook Camping Area is a glorious local campground, and if you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Sutton is a good choice. Throughout the summer at Whitins Pond highs are frequently in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are usually in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Whitins Pond fall into the 10's. Whitewater paddling is fine on Assabet River; the sights at Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor will blow your mind. The high level of precipitation makes Whitins Pond a pretty wet place; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Clear and Branch has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby; you can go for a hike on the Ross Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
