     Massachusetts has many beautiful lakes and Whitins Pond is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. You must have a look at Meadow Pond when you're here at Whitins Pond, and Worcester - Days Inn Shrewsbury is a tremendous spot to get some rest. Summertime highs at Whitins Pond commonly tend to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Whitins  
   Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Assabet River.
Whitins Pond gets a great deal of water; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month is February. This place is so good, just check out all the exciting stuff to do close to Whitins Pond. A lake nearby is Swans Pond, and don't leave Whitins Pond without first going for a hike along the Walkabout Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you come
 
               at the right time of year, Clear and Branch offers some pleasant whitewater, and going for a hike on the Ross Trail is always a good adventure.
The view of Castle Hill from Whitins Pond is wonderful, and Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a very wonderful place to have a look at. There's always Swans Pond Dam to stop by right next door to Whitins Pond. There's so much to do here at Whitins Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Winding Brook Camping Area is a good spot for that. Cook Allen Brook flows through this vicinity; if you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Sutton is a tremendous choice.
Any time is a good time at Whitins Pond if you have a thing about the outdoors. A journey to Purgatory Chasm is always fun, and Whitins Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Kings Campground is a pleasant local campground. During your spree to Whitins Pond you'll meet some folks from Worcester for sure, and playing golf is lots of fun at Edgewood Golf Course. If you get bored of Whitins Pond, you could also have a look at nearby Fish Pond; you can go for a hike on the Munyan Trail.
