This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. If you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Orchards Golf Course Superintendant, and the top of Cedar Knob is easily distinguished from Whiting Street Reservoir. Whiting Street Reservoir is a relatively wet place commonly with a good deal of precipitation;       the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most while January is generally the driest month. Dry warm beds await you at Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Holyoke; there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby called the Link Trail. Going for a hike on the Richard Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and Days Inn Holyoke is a tremendous place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene places, why not go                  to Mountain Park Reservoir right next door to Whiting Street Reservoir; the Spring Trail is a great hiking trail close by. That right there is a heap already, but it keeps on going; Whiting Street Reservoir has it all. Whiting Street Pond Dam is not far at all from Whiting Street Reservoir, and a brilliant place for whitewater paddling is Connecticut River. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little River, and you'll locate a beautiful lake called Mount Tom Reservoir. Summer at Whiting Street Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Whiting Street Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Whiting Street Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Rainbow Motel is a nice place for that, and if you want to hit the beach, Sandy Beach is in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful.
