The skiing at Wachusett Mountain is delightful, and there are some great whitewater spots on Clear and Branch. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Wadkin Hill can be seen from Whitin Reservoir, and Econo Lodge Sutton is a perfect place to get some rest. If you came for an overnight       stay Kings Campground is a nice place to camp. Lakes? Sure, Stevens Pond is around here. Whitin Reservoir really is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. Lake Manchaug Camping is a great local campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Quinebaug River. This lake is so wonderful. Whitin Reservoir is a location with many visitors from Worcester, and swamps like Douglas Cedar Swamp near Whitin Reservoir                  make for glorious sites to check out. Lots of rainfall falls at Whitin Reservoir; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest of the months is February. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Blackstone National Golf Club is close at hand, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Auburn. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area near Whitin Reservoir has to offer. You can take a little journey to Whitin Reservoir Dam if you're here at Whitin Reservoir, and do pay a visit to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor while you're here at Whitin Reservoir. If the weather is glorious here at Whitin Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Munyan Trail; a spree to YWCA Beach is always a great idea. You must positively go to delightful Spring Lake Beach while you're here at Whitin Reservoir, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Walkabout Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dark Brook is a delightful local stream. Throughout the summertime months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Whitin Reservoir; the nighttime is rather colder of course, usually in the 50's.
