This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Quaboag River, and from Westville Lake you acquire a splendid view of Dennison Hill. If you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn & Suites Colonial is a great choice, and of course, this is a good region       for folks who like lakes, Number One Reservoir is a lake close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. Natchaug River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby; Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a good national park. If you're here at Westville Lake, you could stop by Hatchet Brook; there are plenty of folks from Willimantic here. At Westville Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 80's, and the night is a bit colder                  of course, mostly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Westville Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. So much fun stuff close to Westville Lake, simply extraordinary. There's great hiking along the Border Trail. Woodstock Town Beach is a beach in the neighborhood of Westville Lake that you can check out; Outdoor world Campground is a perfect campground nearby. Having a good time at Westville Lake is easy. For you golfers we recommend nearby Royal Oaks Country Club; you're most likely keen on lakes, Number Two Reservoir is one of those close by. Dry warm beds await you at Passport Inn - Sturbridge; if you came for an overnight stay Yogi Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park is a delightful place to camp.
