Little River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by, and Turtle Bend is a nice site to explore while in the area. Westfield River Reservoir is right by
the Link Trail. There's so much to do here at Westfield River Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Prospect Mountain Campground is a splendid spot for that. Westfield River Reservoir is a reasonably wet place commonly
with a good deal of rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest.
All through the warmest time of the year at Westfield River Reservoir highs are generally
in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the winter the highs are typically in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Westfield River Reservoir. This lake
is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Richard Trail, and Blandford is a very popular ski area nearby.
