    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Wedge Pond. That right there is lots already, but it continues; Wedge Pond has it all. The summits of the Middlesex Fells add much beauty to the region around Wedge Pond; from Wedge Pond you obtain a delightful sight of Andrews Hill. Best Western New Englander is a brilliant site to get some rest, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Charles River. Wedge Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; the wettest month  
   of the year is commonly November, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is August.
This lake is so wonderful. Bradford is a good local ski area, and camping at Camp Micah is always a perfect experience. Summer at Wedge Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while Wedge Pond overnight low temperatures through the
 
               winter are in the 10's. You'll meet a lot of people from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy here, and glorious water scenery is available at Wedge Pond Dam in close proximity to Wedge Pond.
Swamps can be such attention-grabbing places, visit Turkey Swamp if you're here at Wedge Pond; Wedge Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Cedar is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Brooks-Parkhurst Town Forest is a fine local forest, and Stoneham Oaks Golf Course is a great golf course nearby. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Blue Hills is close to Wedge Pond, and there are other spots here than Wedge Pond, for example Judkins Pond.
Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a splendid local destination here at Wedge Pond, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Concord River. Aberjona River flows through this region. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Woburn, and lakes are such calm locations, why not have a look at Mill Pond.
