There are wonderful places to look at along the Wapack Trail; you can run the rapids of Stony Brook. Now, you may believe that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Watatic Pond. The snow is great at Crotched Mountain. At Watatic Pond all through the summertime months highs are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; after the sun is down all       through the winter temperatures at Watatic Pond plunge into the 0's. A charming lake like Ward Pond near Watatic Pond is a nice place to explore, and the peak of Blood Hill can be distinguished from Watatic Pond. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Watatic Pond. Good hiking is available along the Parker Trail, and a delightful nearby hotel is Wachusett Village Inn. You'll locate a wonderful lake called Marble Pond near Watatic Pond. You'll                  need more than a day to explore everything Watatic Pond has to offer, you can camp at Howe's Camping. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Wachusett Mountain, and lots of people from Manchester-Nashua come here. This lake is so wonderful. Marble Pond Dam is a charming site close to Watatic Pond; you can go for a hike on the Mitchell Hill Road. Souhegan River is a wonderful whitewater spot close to Watatic Pond, and after a long day outdoors Courtyard Fitchburg is a good place to spend a night or two. Watatic Pond frequently gets a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful.
