Ware River Reservoir sees pretty high levels of precipitation; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; February is when it's the driest. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. There's whitewater on Quaboag River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Dunroamin Country Club. During       the long summer days highs here at Ware River Reservoir get into the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Ware River Reservoir descend into the 10's. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Sturbridge, and a quick tour to Muddy Brook is absolutely a pleasant idea. This lake is so wonderful. Econo Lodge Sturbridge is a fine site                  to get some rest, and if you get bored of Ware River Reservoir you could also pop by nearby Snow Pond. You can run the rapids of Millers River near Ware River Reservoir, and camping at Ware River Reservoir is delightful fun, Old Saw Mill Camp Ground is a delightful local campground. Head up to Pine Ridge and strap some skis to your feet; why not camp at High View Campgrounds while you're here at Ware River Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
