The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Wampatuck Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cohasset Tidal Rip; a golf course close by is Ridder Golf Course. Pond; Comfort Inn Rockland is a great place to get some rest. Much rain falls at Wampatuck Pond; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
The slopes of Blue Hills are so inviting nobody can resist, and Burrage Pond is a great lake nearby. There's a forest here at Wampatuck Pond called Hanson Town Forest; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Rockland. Life's too short
to enjoy all the amusing things in close proximity to Wampatuck Pond. Do stop at Wampatuck Pond Dam since you're here at Wampatuck Pond; a scenic lake like Monponsett Pond is a glorious place to stop by. You think that's enough?
