Walsh Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Circle CG Farm Campground is a good local campground, and the Munyan Trail is a delightful hiking trail close by. Playing golf is lots of fun at Bungay Brook Golf Club, and not far from Walsh Pond you'll find Forge Pond which is a striking       lake. Dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn Milford, and lots of folks from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River come here. This place, Walsh Pond, it definitely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Nothing beats kicking back at State Park Beach, and going for a hike along the Ross Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Walsh Pond to make out the water at Lake Hiawatha Dam, and camping                  at Holiday Acres Camping Resort is always a splendid experience. For the period of the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Walsh Pond, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Walsh Pond are in the 10's. But wait, there's more to do close to Walsh Pond. Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a brilliant location near Walsh Pond, and why not a little side journey to Fox Brook. Walsh Pond is a wet location that gets a good deal of rainfall; November is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than Walsh Pond, for example Duck Pond, and you can run the rapids of Assabet River.
