Lakes are nice; Wallum Lake is a lake that's right next door to Wallum Lake. Some magnificent nature is available in Buck Hill, and a pleasant close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Auburn. This lake is so wonderful. A short visit to Boiling Spring is always worthwhile; there are some delightful whitewater spots on Quinebaug River. This lake is so wonderful. Yeah, come       here to Wallum Lake for a great time. Looking for a wonderful journey? Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is quite close to Wallum Lake, and at Wallum Lake you can catch a glimpse of Wadkin Hill. There's so much to do here at Wallum Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Winding Brook Camping Area is a great place for that, and you'll most likely meet some people from Worcester here. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great                  area for folks who like lakes. Wallum Lake is a lake in close proximity, and do take a hike on the Munyan Trail. So much cool stuff to do here at Wallum Lake, too great to be true. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Clear and Branch, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Walkabout Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Wallum Lake a wet location; the wettest month of the year is regularly November, that's the one that rains the most while February is mostly the driest month. If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Sutton is a glorious choice, and tremendous water scenery is available at Wallum Lake Dam in the neighborhood of Wallum Lake. A round of golf at nearby Edgewood Golf Course is a perfect way to kill some time, and hey, Cold Spring Brook is a great local stream. Stay the night at Buck Hill Family Campground; why not take a refreshing hike along the Ross Trail. At Wallum Lake through the warm months highs are in the 80's, and the overnight is a little chillier of course, mostly in the 50's.
