If you need a site to stay Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Worcester Auburn is a nice choice, and visiting Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. The high level of rain makes Waite Pond a rather wet place; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is
the driest. If the weather is gorgeous, you obtain a great sight of Carey Hill from Waite Pond; at Waite Pond you always meet someone from Worcester. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Going for a hike
along the Border Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and a good nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Auburn.
Looking for something close to Waite Pond? Kettle Brook Reservoir Number One is in the neighborhood,
and you can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Pine Ridge. That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Waite Pond has it all. You could also have a look at City Pond while you're here at Waite Pond; it's nearby;
camping at Wood Lot Campground is always a tremendous experience. While you're here at Waite Pond you can take a hike along the Ross Trail; a perfect swamp in close proximity to Waite Pond is Great Cedar Swamp.
