If you are traveling by, why not stop by Waite Pond. Waite Pond is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Wood Lot Campground is a nice place to camp nearby; the Border Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. Lakes? Sure, Kettle Brook Reservoir Number One is around here, and a round of golf at nearby Hillcrest Country Club is a wonderful way to kill some time. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great planet it would be. Dry warm

| | beds await you at Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Worcester Auburn, and obviously Lynde Brook flows through this area. If you haven’t been to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor, you have to schedule some time for it while you're here, and nearby you discover the Ross Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. Mountain, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Munyan Trail. Great Cedar Swamp is an interesting swamp in close proximity to Waite Pond; you can stay the night at The Woodlot Campground. A great deal
of rain falls at Waite Pond; through the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There are plenty of people from Worcester here at Waite Pond, and if you need
a place to stay Comfort Inn Auburn is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Waite Pond, you'll come across City Pond which is a scenic lake, and the slopes of Pine Ridge are so inviting nobody can resist. During
the warm days of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Waite Pond. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows all through the winter for Waite Pond tend to
be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Carey Hill can be distinguished from Waite Pond, and Waite Pond Dam is a spot that is near Waite Pond.
