So many entertaining things to do at Upper Wrights Pond, so little time. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Mitchell Hill Road, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Wachusett Mountain if you're here. Just can't get enough of Upper Wrights Pond. An       afternoon playing golf at Maplewood Golf Course is always a joy, and paddling on Souhegan River is so much fun. All the water falling down from the sky makes Upper Wrights Pond a wet place; through November this area sees the most rain, and September is the month with the least moisture. Summertime highs at Upper Wrights Pond generally tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in                  the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Upper Wrights Pond. If you came for an overnight stay Pine Campgrounds is a great place to camp; you can never get enough of the great skiing at Crotched Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Old Country Road is pleasant fun; soar down the rapids of Stony Brook in a kayak.
