This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Upper Reservoir, you could stop by Brewer Brook; perfect hiking is available along the Link Trail. If only every site had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great earth it would be. Hit the slopes at Berkshire East around here. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Upper Reservoir; Richard Trail is a perfect local trail; golf can be played at Pine Grove Golf Club.       A visit to Roberts Meadow revitalizes the soul, and from Upper Reservoir you get a good vista of Bald Hill. Man, is there heaps of exciting stuff to do close to Upper Reservoir. Why not camp at Windy Acres Campground since you're here at Upper Reservoir, and a good close by hotel is The Hotel Northampton. Go for a hike on the Spring Trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Connecticut River. All through                  the months of summer at Upper Reservoir temperatures are generally in the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Upper Reservoir are in the 10's. Blandford has splendid slopes and a friendly staff, and if you need a spot to stay Autumn Inn is a pleasant choice. Much rainfall falls at Upper Reservoir; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Swift River is a great whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Upper Reservoir; the good folks of Springfield like to hang out close by.
