If you are in this part of Massachusetts make sure to pay a visit to Upper Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. The Porches Inn at MASS MoCA is a wonderful place to get some rest; get dripping wet paddling on Green River. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Upper Reservoir. | | Ledge is close to Upper Reservoir; if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Busby Trail.
The skiing at Berkshire East is perfect; on a good day you can take a hike along the Overlook Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you're popping by Upper Reservoir from Bennington, you won't be the only one, and if you came for an overnight stay Shady Acres Campground is a tremendous site to camp. the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is commonly the driest month.
At Upper Reservoir during the summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The cold days of
the winter come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Upper Reservoir drop into the 10's. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Jiminy Peak is near Upper Reservoir, and Upper Reservoir Dam
is a stunning place, certainly worth checking out. While you're here at Upper Reservoir you can play some golf at Forest Park Country Club; if you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Berkshires, Ma is a splendid choice.
Azimuth Brook
flows through this region, and going for a hike along the Thunderbolt Ski Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Camping is available at Clarksburg State Park, and The Cascade is a scenic spot to take a look at while you're at Upper Reservoir.
