Bear Meadow Brook flows through this vicinity, and skiing at Crotched Mountain is one of those things you just should do. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Wachusett Mountain if you're here, and Upper Naukeag Lake is a tremendous location to                  visit for more than one day, Howe's Camping is a tremendous location to camp nearby. Go for a hike on the Parker Trail; dry warm beds await you at Colonial Hotel.
