This lake is so wonderful. Hyannis Inner Harbor is a striking place in the neighborhood of Upper Gate Pond, and if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend Lewis Bay Beach. Camping is available
at Yarmouth Campgrounds, and swamps don’t sound that fine but Mill Pond Marshes close to Upper Gate Pond is rather fine. This lake is so wonderful. Long Pond is a perfect lake close to Upper Gate Pond; a fine beach close by is Bay
View Street Beach.
A glorious close by hotel is Budget Host Hyannis Motel, and you ought to take a look at Harbor Bluff when you're here. Lots of rainfall falls at Upper Gate Pond; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July.
