     Upper Banjo Pond is close to Upper Banjo Pond Dam which is a pretty location without doubt worth stopping at, and perhaps you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Lower Banjo Pond is just a very short distance away. Jones River is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at, and Field Rocks is a nice place to spend some time. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Best Western Bass Rocks Ocean Inn, and obviously, this is a perfect  
   area for folks who like lakes, Fernwood Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. Upper Banjo Pond gets a large amount of water; November is the month that gets the most rain; August on the other hand is the driest.
If only every site had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great world it would be. A cool spot to go to near Upper Banjo Pond is Stage Head; a golf course close by is Bass Rocks Golf Club. And if that's not sufficient, there's lots more to do close
 
               to Upper Banjo Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Atlantic Ocean. Why not camp at Henry's Resort Motel if you're here at Upper Banjo Pond; if you want to hit the beach, Halfmoon Beach is nearby.
Taking a little trip to close by Biskie Head is a good idea; a splendid location to camp here at Upper Banjo Pond is Cape Ann Camp Site. At Upper Banjo Pond throughout the warm months highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Upper Banjo Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is gorgeous, you get a great sight of Bond Hill from Upper Banjo Pond, and a journey to Cressy Beach is always a wonderful idea.
If you like swamps, you're in luck, Annisquam River is right nearby, and Ocean View Inn and Resort is a perfect site to get some rest.
