If only every spot had this much outdoors fun things, what a great world it would be. One of the best things about Union Pond is its proximity to Little Harbor Beach, and you must have a look at Bourne Cove when you're here. A tremendous nearby hotel is       Knights Inn Bourne, and Bay Pointe Country Club is a great golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Maple Park Family Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can explore Ortolani Number Two Dam. High temperatures at Union Pond through the days of summer are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's; nighttime lows                  throughout the wintertime for Union Pond tend to be in the 10's. Union Pond gets lots of water; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month of the year is June. This lake is so wonderful. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Bangs Bog is right nearby, and do stop by Mill Pond, it's a wonderful lake. Take a little spree to Gibbs Brook since you're here at Union Pond, and you can stay the night at Maple Park Recreation Area.
