Take a hike on the Richard Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites. This is a brilliant neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Lost Wilderness Lake is a lake close by, and you can run the rapids of Farmington River - West Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Blandford around here; Cold Spring Campground is a perfect local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Twining Pond is right by the County Road Trail, and at Twining Pond

| | you can spot Burgess Mountain. And that's not all you can do here at Twining Pond. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Ski Sundown. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area close to Twining Pond has to offer. Take a side tour to Clam River; Twin Brook Farm And Camping Areas is a magnificent campground nearby. stuff to observe at Lost Wilderness Lake Southern Dam close to Twining Pond. Twining Pond gets a good deal of water; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January. For
the duration of the warm months at Twining Pond temperatures are regularly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Twining Pond
temperatures drop to the 10's. Hiking along the Link Trail is great fun, and after a long day outdoors Blackberry River Inn is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. You'll meet a lot of folks from Pittsfield here; Dismal Bay is very near and is a glorious site to take a look at.
