Twining Pond is a nice lake to visit. Twining Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. Here at Twining Pond there are plenty of folks from Pittsfield, and while you're here, you could have a look at Clam River. This lake is so wonderful. Twining Pond is right by the County Road Trail; Dismal Bay is reasonably close.

Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Twining Pond drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Blackberry River Inn is a good place to spend a night or two; Lost Wilderness Lake Southern Dam is a delightful place. | |

Do pop by Otis Reservoir right next door to Twining Pond, it's a picturesque
lake, and Burgess Mountain can be made out from Twining Pond. So much fun stuff in close proximity to Twining Pond, just amazing. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Link Trail. Having a tremendous time at Twining Pond is
painless. While you're here at Twining Pond, you could also stop by beautiful Lemanquais Pond; Cold Spring Campground is a great local campground.
Twin Brook Farm And Camping Areas is a great campground nearby, and you can hit
the slopes at Blandford around here. Hiking along the Richard Trail is tremendous fun, and Ski Sundown is a very popular ski area close by.
