    If you are in Berkshire county it's always a good idea to stop by Twin Pond. From a rainfall point of view Twin Pond is a relatively common spot; throughout July this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This is a popular spot for folks from Pittsfield; get yourself into a kayak and hit Green River. Berry Pond is a great lake close to Twin Pond; get drenched paddling on Konkapot Brook.
Twin Pond is nice enough to spend
 
   more than a day at, Privacy Campground is a nice local campground, and you can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Bousquet. At Twin Pond through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Twin Pond temperatures plunge to the 10's. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do in the vicinity  
               of Twin Pond. On a beautiful day you acquire a vista of Doll Mountain from Twin Pond, and nearby you come across the Taconic Skyline Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable stuff just keep reading. Lakes? Sure, Cranberry Pond is in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Turner Trail, and why not explore nearby North Branch Mount Lebanon Brook while you're here at Twin Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Ramada Limited Inn & Suites Pittsfield; going for a hike on the Brickhouse Mountain Trail is always a wonderful adventure.
Don't leave Twin Pond without first checking out Clover Mountain; a fine place to camp here at Twin Pond is Woodland Hills Campground. If you need a site to stay A B&B in the Berkshires is a brilliant choice, and pleasant skiing awaits you at Jiminy Peak.
