Turtle Pond is a pretty wet place mostly with a lot of rainfall; during November this area sees the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Turtle Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's,       and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Turtle Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, Blackfish Creek is a stream you can take a look at while here; if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Pamet Cranberry Bog Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Turtle Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Paine's Campground is a pleasant site for that; if you're looking for a beach                  nearby we recommend Newcomb Hollow Beach. A spree to Cape Cod National Seashore is recommended, and the Great Island Trail is a nice hiking trail close by. You get a great panorama of Cannon Hill from Turtle Pond, and if you've had enough of Turtle Pond, Great Pond is nearby. Near Turtle Pond you come across the Buttonbush Trail which is a fine hiking trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Turtle Pond has to offer, you can camp at Maurice's Campground. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do near Turtle Pond. Take a look at close by Blackfish Creek Marshes, and Captains Quarters Motel is a tremendous site to get some rest. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting things just keep reading. Taking a little visit to close by Drummer Cove is a pleasant idea; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Chequessett Yacht & Country Club.
