Many people like to go to Turtle Pond. Turtle Pond is a tremendous spot to visit for more than one day, Maurice's Campground is a tremendous spot to camp nearby, and a day at Newcomb Hollow Beach is time well spent. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Turtle Pond has to offer, you can camp at Paine's Campground, and at Turtle Pond you can see Cannon Hill.

| | and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Blackfish Creek, and you have to go to Drummer Cove when you're here. During the warm days of summer at Turtle Pond highs are typically in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 30's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Turtle Pond drop into the 20's.

time for it if you're here. There are plenty of folks from Barnstable Town here at Turtle Pond, and if you're a golfer then a fine nearby course is Chequessett Yacht & Country Club. Be careful coming to Turtle Pond, you might not
ever wanna go back home again. If the weather is perfect here at Turtle Pond, you can go for a hike along the Buttonbush Trail, and do check out Gull Pond, it's a striking lake.

Cranberry Bog Trail; swamps don’t sound that pleasant but Blackfish Creek Marshes near Turtle Pond is pretty pleasant. Captains Quarters Motel is a nice site to get some rest, and while you're here here do pop by close by Cahoon Hollow
