Dry warm beds await you at Blackberry River Inn, and Lost Wilderness Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. There are great spots to look at along the Link Trail, and nearby you come across the County Road Trail which is a good hiking trail. Going for a hike on the Richard Trail is always a magnificent adventure; there are plenty of folks from Pittsfield here. nights at Trout Pond are in the 10's. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do in close proximity to Trout Pond. Some of the water close by flows, like Clam River. There's so much to do here at Trout Pond that you need to
camp here for a while, Twin Brook Farm And Camping Areas is a great spot for that. The snow is glorious at Ski Sundown; if you're here, you could also take a look at scenic Twining Pond. Trout Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; during August this area sees the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
