The beauty of Treat Pond is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Spend the day on the beach at Bassing Beach if you're here at Treat Pond, and Treat Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Prospect Lake Park is a tremendous local campground. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Treat Pond; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Do explore Little Harbor Reservoir near Treat Pond, it's a delightful lake, and The Flats is a magnificent location here at Treat Pond. Some of the water nearby flows, like Bailey Creek, and don't miss out on a tremendous swamp; The Glades is right here at Treat Pond. The panorama of Bear Hill from Treat Pond is charming; Clarion Hotel Nantasket Beach is a perfect spot to get some rest. Be careful coming to Treat Pond, you might not ever want to go back home | |

again. Cohasset Tidal Rip is a magnificent whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Treat Pond, and the sights at Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area will blow your mind. While you're here at Treat Pond, you could also
have a look at beautiful Morris Pond; do schedule some time to explore Bryant Point if you have a chance. Treat Pond is not far at all from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Treat Pond. If
you're here at Treat Pond, checking out White Head is a must, and if you need a site to stay Kimball S By The Sea-Cohasset Harbor Inn is a brilliant choice. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Little Harbor.
There's so much to do here at Treat Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Norwell Campsites is a splendid location for that. Black Ledge is in close proximity to Treat Pond and is a great place, and time spent at Sandy Beach
is always glorious. All through the summer at Treat Pond temperatures are typically in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 20's for Treat Pond.

Ellis Haven Family Campground
 | 18 miles away Ellis Haven was my summer vacation every year from 1957 to 1967. I'm 58 years old now and my best memories are of Ellis Haven. Looks like it's still a beautiful place to take a vacation....I have been going to Ellis Haven for 50 years. It is definately one of my favorite campgrounds. It is very family oriented and extremely clean. The pond is fabulous for swimming and great for fishing too.... |

 | 19 miles away I was interested in a rental on Widgeon Pond. I stayed there many years ago and loved it....I have a cottage on Widgeon Pond. Nice, quiet and relaxing pond with reasonable fishing. Swimming is nice but sometimes the water is really high, almost to the extent where there is no beach at all. Some people have small parties or gatherings, but there aren't any loud parties. Very calming place to chill out.... |
