Middle Flats is a great location to check out; Trapps Pond is not the only spot nearby, Lily Pond is a nearby lake. At Trapps Pond you always meet someone from Barnstable Town, and if you came for an overnight stay Marthas Vineyard Campground is a wonderful place to camp. During the warm months highs       here at Trapps Pond reach the 80's; the overnight is somewhat cooler of course, ordinarily in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Trapps Pond. So many cool things to do here at Trapps Pond, too wonderful to be true. A tremendous place near Trapps Pond is Little Beach, and you can hit the beach if you want, Bend-in-the-Road Beach is practically right here. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Beetle Swamp is right                  close by, and the top of Mill Hill is easily seen from Trapps Pond. Clarion Carriage House Inn Martha's Vineyard is a delightful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Edgartown Lodge is a great place to spend a night or two, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Farm Neck Golf Club. Trapps Pond gets a lot of water; most of the rain falls during December while July is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something close to Trapps Pond?
