There's so much to do here at The Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Boston / Cape Cod KOA is a wonderful place for that, and perfect water scenery is available at The Reservoir Dam near The Reservoir. You must without doubt go to King Phillips Lookout while you're here at The Reservoir, and why not a little side visit to Bates Brook. All the water falling down from the sky makes The Reservoir a wet site; throughout the month of November you get

The Reservoir is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Plymouth Rock Koa Kampground is a tremendous local campground, and while you're here, do take a journey to Green Point. Clear Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and if you need a place to stay Days Inn Middleboro - Plymouth is a nice choice. be. The peak of Alden Hill can be distinguished from The Reservoir, and if you get bored of The Reservoir you could also pop by close by Loon Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Blue Hills and strap some skis to your feet.
This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Fairfield Inn Plymouth Middleboro; while you're here and you like golf, you can pop by Lakeville Country Club. At The Reservoir through the warmest time of the year highs are in
the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to The Reservoir.

Looks like it's still a beautiful place to take a vacation....I have been going to Ellis Haven for 50 years. It is definately one of my favorite campgrounds. Widgeon Pond
 | 17 miles away I was interested in a rental on Widgeon Pond. I stayed there many years ago and loved it....I have a cottage on Widgeon Pond. Nice, quiet and relaxing pond with reasonable fishing. Swimming is nice but sometimes the water is really high, almost to the extent where there is no beach at all. Some people have small parties or gatherings, but there aren't any loud parties. Very calming place to chill out.... |
