There's some out of the ordinary stuff to see at Rising Paper Company Dam in the neighborhood of The Cove, and you can hit the slopes at Ski Butternut in the neighborhood. The high level of rainfall makes The Cove a rather wet place; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. | | than a day to look at everything The Cove has to offer, you can camp at Woodland Hills Campground, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Elbow Trail. Bousquet is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Bash Bish Brook. High temperatures at The Cove through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. the 30's, and nighttime lows through the winter for The Cove tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Konkapot Brook, and Brookside Col is a great location to spend some time. This lake is so wonderful.
Going for a hike along the Wild Cat Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and hey, Williams River is a good local stream. Man, is there plenty of fun things to do in the vicinity of The Cove. After a long
day outdoors Great Barrington MA Travelodge is a good place to spend a night or two; while you're here, you could also take a look at pretty Fountain Pond. On a glorious day at The Cove you can take a hike along the Indian Trail;
do explore Mansfield Pond, it's a gorgeous lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. The Cove is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Camp Half Moon is a magnificent place to camp nearby; dry warm beds
await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GREAT BARRINGTON. You're sure to come across some nice folks from Pittsfield here.
