This is a splendid region for people who like lakes. Kings Pond is a lake in the neighborhood; if you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites MIDDLEBORO RAYNHAM is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Do pay a visit to Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area since you're here at Thatchers Pond. There's so much to do here at Thatchers Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Boston / Cape Cod KOA is a nice place for that. This

| | lake is so wonderful. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Thatchers Pond, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Thatchers Pond. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Thatchers Pond. Thatchers Pond you can catch a glimpse of Le Baron Hill; if you came to camp Plymouth Rock Koa Kampground is a delightful spot to do that. Thatchers Pond is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rainfall; November is the wettest month
with most rain while July is usually the driest month. A good nearby hotel is Fairfield Inn Plymouth Middleboro, and getting to Bassett Brook from Thatchers Pond is painless. You can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Blue Hills. Lakes are fine; Middle Pond is a lake that's right next door to Thatchers Pond.

Looks like it's still a beautiful place to take a vacation....I have been going to Ellis Haven for 50 years. It is definately one of my favorite campgrounds.
