Tekoa Reservoir is not far at all from Springfield; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Blandford. This lake is so wonderful. Tekoa Reservoir is a wet place that gets a large amount of rain; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is January.       Cook Brook is a pretty stream that is worth taking a look at. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Tekoa Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Wilderness Experience Unlimtd. Any time is a perfect time at Tekoa Reservoir if you go for the outdoors. The Richard Trail is a nice hiking trail near Tekoa Reservoir, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Little River. A great nearby hotel is Elm Motel, and why not head up to Berkshire East and                  strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. Near Tekoa Reservoir you stumble on the County Road Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, and you obtain a great sight of Ball Mountain from here. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Tekoa Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Tekoa Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Sodom Mountain Campground is a magnificent place for that, and Tekoa Dam is picturesque. The warmest time of the year at Tekoa Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Tekoa Reservoir are in the 0's. While you're here at Tekoa Reservoir, you could also stop at pretty Moose Meadow Brook Reservoir, and there's whitewater on Westfield River for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
