If you like lakes and you're in this part of Massachusetts you can check out Tannery Pond. Chilson Pond is a good lake next to Tannery Pond, and dry warm beds await you at The Porches Inn at MASS MoCA. Tannery Pond gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Near Tannery Pond you discover the Thunderbolt Ski Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and Tannery Pond is a great location to visit for more than one day, Shady Pines Campground is a great location to camp nearby. sufficient, there's a heap more to do close to Tannery Pond. There's a pleasant forest close to Tannery Pond called Florida State Forest; the snow is great at Mount Greylock Ski Club. It's always nice to take a look at Tannery Falls,
and some attention-grabbing geology is available here, Serpentine Ledge is right here. The Dunbar Brook Trail is a perfect hiking trail next to Tannery Pond, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Berkshire
