Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a splendid national park, and if you want to hit the beach, Wessagusset Beach is in the neighborhood. An average amount of rain falls at Sylvan Lake; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily November, that's the one that rains the most, and July on the other hand is the driest. Lakes are such serene places, why not check out Lake Holbrook in close proximity to Sylvan Lake; the snow is glorious at Blue Hills.

| | For the period of the long summer days at Sylvan Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Sylvan Lake. Why not visit Lake Holbrook Dam since you're here, and Sylvan Lake is a place with many visitors from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy. want to play some golf, you're in luck because Braintree Municipal Golf Course is nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Sheraton Braintree Hotel. Take a look at nearby Broad Meadow; paddling on Charles River is so much fun. If
only every place had this much outdoors fun things, what a great globe it would be. This lake is so wonderful. Sylvan Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Robins Pond Camp Ground is a brilliant local campground, and
Courtyard Boston Stoughton is a delightful place to get some rest. A scenic lake like Norroway Pond right next door to Sylvan Lake is a nice spot to explore, and Cochato River is in the neighborhood of Sylvan Lake and is always a
delight to visit. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Sylvan Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Norwell Campsites is a nice spot for that, and whitewater paddling is fine on Cohasset Tidal Rip.
